On the afternoon of June 22, the International Cooperation and Exchange Department and the School of Business of Suqian University held an intercollegiate exchange conference with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. The members in attendance included Xu Quan, deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department; Xu Xiaomei, foreign affairs consultant; Mao Guang (meeting host), deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business; and Yu Qiang, deputy director of the East Asia Office of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

Mr. Xu Quan spoke on behalf of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department and introduced Suqian University’s situation, stating that the university was willing to unite with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in fields like intercollegiate exchanges, students’ short-term research, doctoral program, academic exchanges, undergraduate programs and postgraduate programs. Professor Xu Xiaomei interpreted and voiced her opinion regarding some issues that the two sides would team up on.

Furthermore, Yu Qiang expressed his aspiration to team up with Suqian University and hoped that the two sides would sign an MoU after the meeting and establish a sister-school relationship. In the end, the two sides agreed to promote the joint exchange program's early implementation together.
