Suqian University and Yaroslavl State University, on the afternoon of March 24, congregated for a video conference concerning their joint school-running program. The meeting was held at the lecture hall on the first floor of the library. In attendance were Liu Zhiyuan, president of Suqian University, Tian Yiju, vice president of Suqian University, Gruz Jeff Mikhail wadimovic, president of Yaroslavl State University, Hodlev Alexander Mikhailovich and Solovijov Mikhail Yurievich, vice presidents of Yaroslavl State University, and the heads of relevant departments of Suqian University.

President Liu Zhiyuan’s speech, on behalf of Suqian University, touched on the university’s foreign exchanges and cooperation and stated that the university held Yaroslavl State University in high regard and was willing to team up with the university. He hoped that the two sides would further promote the execution of specific matters of cooperation after the conference. Tian Yiju, the vice president, lectured the concerns of the two sides for the “3+1” joint school-running program.

In his declamation, Gruz Jeff Mikhail wadimovic, president of Yaroslavl State University, also showed his interest in wanting to cooperate with Suqian University. According to him, the meeting would be a great start for the future and all-round partnership between the two sides. Moreover, he hoped that the two universities would carry out exchanges and partnerships in culture, scientific research, and education, among other fields. The president exchanged his opinions with administrators of Suqian University concerning the “3+1” joint school-running program. In the end, both sides came to an agreement to promote the early execution of the joint-running program together.
