Be refreshed by the cool autumn breeze and intoxicated by the fragrance of Osmanthus. The second Chonglao Sports Meeting of Suqian University kicked off on September 24th. It is intended to enrich the campus life of college students, guide students to form a right attitude towards hard work, raise the awareness of "hard work is an honor", and promote all-round development of students in terms of their moral, intellectual and physical fitness level as well as the appreciation of aesthetics and hard work. Ding Hongyan, Vice-Principal, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Themed by "labor is most glorious, working out is happiest", a total of 13 games were designed, including "going forward with load - dragging tires", "carrying the burden - transporting sand", "pushing a trolley", "courier brother”, "vegetable transportation", "rice transplanting", "happy bowling", "working together", "flood relief", "drought relief", "garbage sorting", "waste recycling" and "peanut peeling". Among those 13 games, there are 7 individual games and 6 group games. The Sports Meeting is novel and closely related to everyday life, which is conducive to cultivating good labor habits, promoting the spirit of labor and model worker as well as cultivating the spiritual quality of "appreciating labor, loving labor and respecting labor".

After a day’s exciting competition, School of Civil engineering and Architecture, School of Mechatronic Engineering, and School of Management won the first, second and third place respectively. School of Arts and Sciences and School of Arts and Media won the Outstanding Organization Award. School of Information Engineering and School of Foreign Languages won the Award for Moral Excellence. Business School, School of Marxism and International Students Team won the Best Creativity Award.
