On the afternoon of October 12, the International Affairs Division held a“Support for International Students”event at the International Students House, in an effort to implement the guiding principles of“providing home for students, putting students first, treasuring talents”at SQU and ensure international students enjoy their study and life. Shen Xiqiang, Deputy Head (acting head) oftheInternational Affairs Division, Xu Quan, Deputy Head oftheInternational Affairs Division, faculty members fromtheInternational Affairs Division and all international students participated in the event.

During the event, the teachers talked joyfully with students, knew their recent study and life, told them to take care of their health and keep warm, and encouraged them to study hard and pursue their dreams. Later, Mr. Shen Xiqiang distributed water bottles, microwave ovens and otherpresentsto students.

Students were very happy to receive such presents and thanked the university for its care and help. They expressed the determination to study hard and contribute to Sino-Foreign cultural exchanges and friendship.
