On the afternoon of December 1, Suqian University held a video conference with Tambov State Technical University (TSTU) in the lecture hall on the first floor of the library. SQU Vice President Tong Maodi, Elena S. Mishchenko (Vice-Rector for International Activities of TSTU), Dmitry Yu. Muromtsev (Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities of TSTU) and relevant department staff at SQU attended the conference.

Mr. Tong Maodi addressed the conference on behalf of SQU. He gave a brief introduction of Suqian University, and expressed that SQU values the sister school partnership with TSTU and looks forward to having breakthroughs in scientific research, personnel training and “3+1” cooperative education, and expediting the execution of overseas study tours, summer camps and other programs. Elena S. Mishchenko also showed her willingness to cooperate with SQU in her speech. She deemed this conference as a good start for future all-round cooperation between the two sides and would like to see closer exchanges and cooperation in scientific research, culture and education. She also invited leaders and civil engineering teachers of SQU to participate in its international academic conference in architecture in May next year. Both sides reached a consensus about working together to advance their cooperation projects and attain effective results as soon as possible.
