日前，全国专业英语四八级考试中心公布了2015级全国英语专业学生的专业四级统考信息，我院2015级英语专业同学较上一届取得了突出成绩，一次性通过率高达64.96%，高出全国同类高校英语专业平均通过率28.27个百分点，高出全国一二本16.42个百分点。

我院对2015级英语专业部分英语专业基础课程实施了小班化课堂教学改革。即 对“综合英语”、“英语听力”、“英语口语和语音”等专业核心课程和基础课程实施小班化上课，充分尊重学科教学的特点和基本模式，取得了可喜的成绩。2015级64.96%的一次性通过率超出大班化教学条件下的2012级21.38个百分点，超出2014级12.95个百分点。

The Application of Small-Class Teaching to TEM4 in School of Foreign Studies

Recently, Test for English Majors-Band Center announced the information of 2015 National English Majors' Test for English Majors band 4. In comparison with the pass rate of Grade 2015, the pass rate of Grade 2016 is 64.96%, which is higher than the national average rate of English Majors of similar colleges and universities by 28.27%, and higher than the rate of English Majors of first class and second class universities by 16.42%.

The reason for the achievements is the implementation of small-class teaching reform for English Majors Grade 2015 English courses. The small-sized courses include “Comprehensive English”, “English Listening” and “English Phonetics”. This reform is in accordance with the English teaching and learning, which will contribute to the students of Grade 2017 in the coming year.
